Since his last EP release in mid 2017 - ‘Emancipation!’ - Love Ssega has travelled the globe performing solo shows in Malawi, South Korea and Europe. He is now back with this vibrant and semi-disco inspired pop release from his forthcoming EP, Nothing Is Promised, out in March 2019. National Radio play from BBC 6Music’s lead broadcaster and tastemaker Lauren Laverne has come in support of this release with ‘Overcome’ being played on her Breakfast Show. This is in addition to support from Gemma Cairney on the station as well.

The lead track off this release ‘Stop Making Sense’ sums up the newfound confidence in Love Ssega’s music, combining potent lyricism with a driving bassline and shimmering synths into a hypnotic pop number. Over the last year, Love Ssega has garnered tastemaker support from Apple Music, Tidal and China's Netease platform to go alongside previous support from the likes of BBC Radio 1 (Annie Mac, Huw Stephens, Phil Taggart), Beats 1, Stereogum, Notion, Mixmag, Amazon, Noisey and Deezer. Following the release of his new EP, Love Ssega has more international dates planned before returning to London for a summer homecoming show. Insidiously addictive disco fuelled indie pop with a message to the political elite to start thinking about the young and their future.
